Being just about 4 months into the new normal established by the COVID-19 pandemic here in America, we are headed towards another chapter for the history books. In this episode, we discuss 2 overarching questions:

  1. With the current political climate (i.e. BLM, COVID-19, etc) and the upcoming elections, do you feel we are in the middle of history in the making?

  2. And, what role do you envision we see ourselves in history books?

Our 3 special guests provided their insights, and openly discuss how they feel about the current political climate, and how they hope to make a difference in their own lives, or in others.

Conclusions made from this episode can be summarized by the highlight points below:

  1. It appears that the upcoming 2020-2021 elections may not be as significant as it appears or as it feels.

  2. The political climate is no different than what has always been going on. This upcoming election and the current political riff, is nothing different than what struggles have already presented itself previously.

  3. Information technology and social media is a much more prominent and powerful platform for spreading information than ever before in history. This may be contributing to what appears to make this a much more historical event than before.

  4. It appears there is a bigger issue involved as it appeals to race. Out of all concerns, there is an inequity to money in the form of knowledge and literacy. It appears we all have a price when it comes to politics.

  5. Though world news are more readily available than ever before, history tends to repeat itself. However, it appears that small efforts, taking charge to educate and grow yourself, and sharing stories and teaching one another, does make an impact and get us closer to making positive changes in the life we all envision.
